Foxy Bingo’s last collaboration with GMG’s Smooth and Real Radio channels apparently went well enough that they have teamed up again for the summer. For 13 weeks this summer, Foxy Bingo will provide sponsorship to evening radio shows featuring DJ’s David “Kid” Jenson and David Hearne on Smooth and Real Radio, respectively. Foxy Bingo formed a similar partnership last year, also for 13 weeks, with Jenson and Hearne’s radio programs, although Jenson’s program last year was an afternoon show.
This year Foxy Bingo will be a headline sponsor of Jenson’s show on Smooth Radio which has moved from the afternoon to the commuting hours of 4:00-7:00 PM. Foxy Bingo will also sponsor the following “70’s at 7” hour long show. Over on Real Radio, Foxy Bingo will sponsor Hearne’s show from 8:00-10:00 PM.
It is expect that both Jenson and the “Foxy” character will voice ads and promos during Jenson’s program. Information will be provided to listeners about games and winners, while Fridays while have a 2 minute solus ad break where listeners will be encouraged to register accounts with Foxy Bingo.
Foxy Bingo’s statement regarding the new ad campaign was voiced by their Finance and Marketing Director, Mark Segal, who stated, “This campaign was a real success for Foxy Bingo in 2011 and we are looking to add new, exciting promotions for the summer. We are also looking forward to seeing Foxy’s relationship grow with David Jensen!”
Negotiations for the deal were handled by Radio Works. In addition to the on-air advertising campaigns, digital campaigns will also entice listeners of Smooth and Real Radio to visit Foxy Bingo and become registered members.
